We walked up a narrow stone road that looked really cool (it seemed a lot of people were heading up the hill too.) We found out that one of the floats from “Semana Santa” started from the church at the top so we sat along the narrow road on the stone wall. We were so close to the float one move and we would have been over the wall into the river bed down below. Quite a drop! The float was so close we could touch it. It was pretty cool. It was kind of scary seeing that thing swaying back and forth! Yikes. We saw it throughout the town parading around for about 2 hours.
