We got up early to head out to “Elche” to see Michael’s apartment when he was on his mission. It’s been 34 years since he’s been there. We found it then we found the stake center to go to church. He saw a few of the people that he knew while he was on his mission Michael was so overwhelmed at how much the church had grown since he’d been there. When he was on his mission they met in a former pool hall and there were about 8 members. Now there is a stake center and hundreds of members. It’s so cool to see how much the church has grown in that area. The whole city has really grown it’s now a good size city while before it was very small. He said I would have given anything to have a “Burger King” then! Needless to say we ate lunch at “Burger King.”
