We slept in till around 8:30 then headed on our travels along the Mediterranean Coast through Spain. Our first stop was through “Valencia.” “Las Fallas” (a crazy holiday in Valencia; and I think in other cities in Spain. Where they build these huge floats and then set them on fire creating a huge bonfire. I took a picture at our hotel explaining it.) was going on and the traffic was absolutely horrible. The whole time we lived in New York I can never remember the drivers being half as crazy as these drivers. Simply no rules apply and you better watch out because they will just merge right into you! It probably took us an hour or more just to get off the main street and get out of there. It would have been really cool to stop and check out things but it was a mad house, so we headed to our hotel in Denia between Valencia and Alicante.
